Winners confirmed in Bayview Mackinac

The 2023 Bayview Mackinac had 191 starters for the 99th consecutive edition which started July 15 in southern Lake Huron. Four teams retired along the course up Lake Huron to Mackinac Island, with all teams finishing by July 17.

For the two courses, Tom Prophit’s NA40 Fast Tango was the overall winner on the 259 nautical mile Cove Island Course while Jeremy Thompson and his Grampian 30 Trav’ler took top honors on the 204 nautical mile Shore Course.

Among the five multhihulls which sailed the Cove Island course, Peter R. Pattullo’s Farrier F-33RX Nelda Ray was both the elapsed and corrected time winner.
