NO ORDINARY WOMEN is the high-energy and inspirational reality documentary series following Team SCA and the lives of a group of determined women in the build up to sailing’s toughest event, the Volvo Ocean Race, beginning in September 2014.

In 8 gripping episodes we witness the dawn of incredible friendships, extraordinary feats of physical fitness, emotions tested to their limits, and a large helping of girl power. We will see the team selected and life-long dreams fulfilled as they become a force to be reckoned with within a male-dominated competition.

In this episode one year has already passed since the first training sessions began. Friendships that will last a lifetime have been formed, but with only three remaining spots left on the team there´s no time to rest. The women in the training camp still without contract need to give show everything they´ve got to impress the coaches that they have what it takes to be part of Team SCA. Now that the selection process is on its final stretch, stress levels are at their peak.
