Guinness World Record: Halfway Home

(July 1, 2015) – The attempt by Robert Suhay to break a Guinness World Record in a Laser continues to make progress on the second day of the campaign. Suhay plans to sail from Beaufort, NC to Annapolis, MD, a distance of about 340 nm, will set a new standard for the longest singlehanded distance sailed in a dinghy by a male. His position as of 19:15 EDT was off of Virginia Beach, VA, with 131.6nm to the finish. Updates – Tracker
