Proposed Law to Increase Distance

A South Carolina bill which would increase the distance between a personal watercraft or vessel and a moored vessel or person in the water has been pre-filed by U.S. Rep. Chip Huggins. This bill would require 100 feet and idle speed between a personal watercraft or vessel and a moored or anchored vessel, dock, person in the water or within 100 yards of the Atlantic coast line.
