Rogers and Parkin Dominate Club 420 Midwinters

The Club 420 Association held its Midwinters Championships at the US Sailing Center of Martin County on February 13-15 in Jensen Beach, Florida. One hundred four boats competed, representing Mexico, Canada and 18 US states.

The 11-race series included clear and consistent conditions with 12-14 kts breeze on Saturday and Sunday while Monday started with 20kt wind and proved to be challenging for many competitors.

Wiley Rogers and Jack Parkin led the event from wire to wire posting just 12 points to the second place team of Ivan Shestopalov and Mario Gonzalez.

The top women’s team of Julia Reynolds and Anne Sidamon-Eristoff`finished in 20th place and top junior team (16 and under) was Clay Snyder and Isabella Farina in 10th.
