Qualifying Complete at RS:X World Championship

Eilat, Israel (February 23, 2016) – The RS:X World Championship completed the qualifying series today, with the top 50% of sailors to race in Gold fleet with the rest in Silver fleet. Tied at the top of the 81-board men’s fleet is Nick Dempsey (GBR) and Pawel Tarnowski (POL) while Malgorzata Bialecka (POL) has built a nine point lead on the 58-board women’s fleet. Racers have a layday tomorrow with racing to commence again February 25 and continue to February 27 with only the top ten advancing to the final medal race. Details.
