The clip above demonstrates the use of a drone by Skip Novak’s Pelagic Australis to navigate through ice in Antarctica. The video below provides the full story of Pelagic Expeditions’ “Sailing to Climb” expedition to Antarctica in January 2016 which includes spectacular drone footage and a record of the 400th anniversary celebrations of the naming of Cape Horn on 29 January 1616 by Willem Schouten and Jacob Le Maire aboard the Eendracht.
