Notice of Race for Paralympic Games

The Rio 2016 Paralympic Sailing Competition begins on September 7 and runs until September 18 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the competition format for all events is fleet racing.
Taking place at the Marina da Glória, the Rio 2016 Paralympic Sailing Competition will feature 80 athletes competing across the Single-Person Keelboat (2.4 mR Norlin One Design), Two-Person Keelboat (SKUD18) and Three-Person Keelboat (Sonar).
Athletes, coaches, trainers and other team officials shall comply with the Paralympic Charter, as well as with the World Sailing rules, in order to be eligible for participation in the Rio 2016 Paralympic Sailing competition, and shall be entered by a National Paralympic Committee (NPC).
The Notice of Race states the key conditions for the three sailing events at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games and includes details on the rules, regulations, entry and qualification guidelines, format, scoring, schedule, venue and courses.
