New Leader at Moth Worlds

Published on May 25th, 2016

Hayama, Japan (May 25, 2016) – Today’ strong southerly winds on day two of the YANMAR Moth Worlds challenged the experts while others stayed ashore as the conditions had exceeded their limit.

Reveling in the weather was Chris Rashley (GBR), posting a 1-1-2 to now hold the lead. Day one leader Robert Greenhalgh (GBR) broke a sidestay in the first race, but got back to the course in time to win the third race. Greenhalgh now sits in 16th overall, hoping enough races will be completed for there to be two discards.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is similar to today with another three races scheduled.
