470 and I-420 North American Championship

The 2017 470 and I-420 North American Championship were held January 14-16 in Miami, FL. Twenty 470s and 35 I-420s completed 9 races each in mostly 12-18 knots from the East. Giacomo Ferrari/ Giulio Calabro (ITA) took the 470 title with Wiley Rogers/ Jack Parkin (USA) as the top North American team in eighth overall. Only three points separated the top three I-420 teams, with Joseph Hermus/ Walter Henry (USA) closing strong with a 1-2-1 for the victory. Results.
