Skunked at Lightning Midwinter Championship

Miami, FL (March 24, 2017) – Racing was cancelled for day two at the Lightning Midwinter Championship. With winds in the mid 20’s on the the bay and possible thunderstorms in the area, the 29-boat fleet will sit today and conclude racing tomorrow.

Leading is Ched Proctor with crew Jay Lurie and Ben Cesare who posted a 3-1 yesterday but they are tied with Chilean Cristobal Perez with crew Alfred Sherman and Rodrigo Ducasse who hold a 2-2.

This is the final stop of 2-event Lightning Southern Circuit which began March 19-21 with the Winter Lightning Championship in St. Petersburg, FL.
