Fifty-one teams competed in the 2017 29er Midwinters West, held March 24-26 in Coronado, CA. Canadians Eric Lyall and Edward Coleman strongly closed the 11-race series with a 1-1-2 to take the title by 8 points over Robert Shelley and Severin Gramm (USA) with David Eastwood/ Sam Merson (USA) two points further back in third.
