Published on August 5th, 2017

Gamagori, Japan (August 5, 2017) – After the layday yesterday, Tasar sailors came back to Kaiyo yacht harbour for the fourth race day of the Tasar World Championship. Two races were completed in patchy and shifty conditions.

Hiroshi Takahashi & Hiroyuki Sugiura, JPN2809 continue good form today and win the first race of the day, the 10th race of the event. Tasar veteran, Rick Longbottom & Darryl Bentley, AUS2989 wom the second race of the day.

Going into the final day of racing, Jonathan and Libby Johnson McKee, USA2597 have a handy 22 point cushion over Chris Dance and Jeremy Elmslie, AUS2858. Two point behind Dance and Elmslie are Robert and Nicole Douglass, AUS2848.

A maximum of 12 races are planned, with the fleet returning to the race course on August 6 for the final race.
