Skunked at Six Metre Worlds

English Bay, Vancouver (September 19, 2017) – A lack of wind cancelled racing today at the 2017 Six Metre World Championships for 45 teams representing 11 nations. With one day remaining for the competition, Phillippe Durr (SUI) leads the Open Division by three points over Andy Beadsworth (GBR), while HM Don Juan Carlos de Borbón (ESP) leads the Classic Division by four points ahead of Peter Hofmann (USA).

The championship has held 4 of the 8 races planned for September 17 to 20.
