Plan for 2019 Block Island Race Week

After the successful running of the 27th Storm Trysail Club Block Island Race Week in 2017, the dates for the biennial Block Island Race Week in 2019 will be Sunday, June 23 through Friday, June 28.

The 2017 Block Island Race Week was characterized by some of the best sailing conditions ever in one of the best regatta venues anywhere. The 150-boat fleet featured everything from top-end one-designs like the J/109 and C&C 30 classes, to the IRC North American Championships, and even a large and enthusiastic group of cruiser-racers.

The Performance Cruising Division enjoyed pursuit starts around navigator courses that saw some of the competitors even living aboard their boats for the week – harkening back to the roots of this classic event.
