Early lead for Eagan at Viper 640 North Americans

Published on October 25th, 2017

Fort Walton Beach, FL (October 25, 2017) – It was a glamour start for the 55 teams competing in the four day Viper 640 North American Championship with sunshine and winds in the mid-teens delivering four solid races.

Sailing a near perfect day, Marcus Eagan with his team of Jackson Benvenutti and Andrew Eagan rolled a 2-1-1 before a starting penalty on the fourth race raised their day one score to 21 points. However, that still gives them the lead by five points over Zeke Horowitz with Brad Boston a point further back in third.

Patrick Ryan, sailing with Norman Vallette and Langston Goldenberg, lead the 20 entrants in the Corinthian fleet.

Racing is planned for October 25 to 28.
