Spithill ready to chase America’s Cup

Jimmy Spithill, after his loss in June as skipper of defender Oracle Team USA in the 35th America’s Cup, indicates the team will be back to challenge when New Zealand hosts the 36th edition in 2021.

“We will definitely be chasing this America’s Cup,” said Spithill. “When you’ve been involved with a great group of people, especially a successful team, it is addictive. It does become an obsession. Once you get the taste of it, you want to taste it again.”

Spithill said team owner Larry Ellison is waiting until the rules comes out before proceeding.
