Video Highlights: Ice and Snow Sailing World Championships 2018

Published on March 8th, 2018

The World Ice and Snow Sailing Association [WISSA] Ice and Snow Sailing World Championships is the longest running international competition in the sport of windsurfing – ironic given that windsurfing is a water sport.

The WISSA mission is to provide an international racing venue for the three classes:
• Open Class: Any sled powered by a windsurfing rig
• Hand Held: Any hand held sail such as kite wing or skate sail
• Kite Class: All sails tethered with lines

Fourteen countries competed in the 2018 Ice & Snow Sailing World Championship held February 26 to March 3 in Lahti, Finland.
