Class40s return for 2018 Atlantic Cup

Eleven teams representing nine countries will compete in the 2018 Atlantic Cup, showcasing Class40 competition along the eastern United States in a 3-leg event.

Leg 1 – May 26 – Doublehanded from Charleston, SC to New York, NY – 648nm
Leg 2 – June 2 – Doublehanded from New York, NY to Portland, ME – 360nm
Leg 3 – June 9-10 – Six crew for inshore series

The combined overall winner of all 3 legs will be crowned Atlantic Cup Champion.

With over 1,000nm of ocean racing, the Atlantic Cup is the longest offshore race in the Western Atlantic and is also the United States’ only short-handed offshore race dedicated to the Class40.
