Evaluating One Person Dinghy Equipment for Paris 2024

Following the invitation by World Sailing for Class Associations and Equipment Manufacturers to tender for the Men’s and Women’s One Person Dinghy Equipment for the Paris 2024 Olympic Sailing Competition, World Sailing received eight bids, none of which were deemed invalid.

The Re-Evaluation Working Party reviewed the bids and concluded that the following should be shortlisted for further evaluation:

– Laser Standard and Laser Radial sailboat, presented by ILCA – Current equipment.
– D-Zero, presented by Devotti Sailing s.r.o.
– Melges 14, presented by Melges Boat Works Inc., NELO and Mackay Boats Ltd.
– RS Aero, presented by RS Sailing.

World Sailing Board of Directors subsequently approved the Working Party recommendation, therefore the above mentioned are the shortlisted bids that will continue in the evaluation process. Timeline below:
