Live Coverage: Extreme Sailing Series, San Diego

The sixth and penultimate event of the 2018 Extreme Sailing Series™ season will be held October 18 to 21 in San Diego, USA. This will be the second time the Series visits San Diego, with the international fleet racing in the Bay near Harbor Island. For event preview, click here.
The 3 hour live streaming programme, produced by Red Handed TV, includes fixed onboard cameras delivering the action from the water, shore side cameras, interviews from the race course and graphics delivered by SAP Sailing Analytics. The expert commentary team includes pro sailing commentator and host Niall Myant (GBR) and pro sailor Sally Barkow (USA).

Background: The Extreme Sailing Series is in its twelfth season, with this year’s eight event tour travelling through Middle East, Europe and the Americas. The platform used is the one design foiling GC32 catamaran, with the format highlighting ‘stadium’ short-course racing in front of the public.
