Fisher Keeps Lead at Thistle Midwinters

St. Petersburg, FL (February 28, 2019) – The fourth day of the 2019 Thistle Midwinters East ended with just one race completed today.

The race committee tried to get a race going this morning, but it didn’t happen. The fleet went back to shore to wait for the sea breeze. PRO Todd Fedyszyn was confident that the breeze would materialize. The sailors finally got back on the water to get one race in for the day.

Team Holland won the sixth race of the series, followed by Craig Koschalk with a second. Team Brauer finished third. Matt Fisher and his team of Wayne Pignolet and Sarah Paisley are still leading the regatta despite a 10th in the only race today.

Up to 10 races are planned for February 25 through March 1.
