Tight at top of Lightning Worlds

Espoo, Finland (June 16, 2019) – Marvin Beckmann (USA) and his team of Jimmy Barnash and Meredith Ryan won the third day of the 2019 Lightning World Championship with a 3-1 which moved them up to third overall. Defending World Champion Javier Conte (ARG) used his discard today with a 4-10 but still leads the 49-point fleet with a three point margin ahead of David Starck (USA). After six races, only eight points separate the top six teams with the final two races tomorrow.
