VIDEO: Urban Wing Skating

Tom Court takes us Urban Wing Skating, using a Carver Surf Skate board and the Duotone Wing on the road in some strong wind. “It is a great way to get used to flying the wing and dial in your control, especially for turns, tacks and gybes,” said Court. “This really does help so that you aren’t learning fresh on the water.

“It took us a few runs to get is sorted, but the most valuable lesson’s are the small ones with one of these wings, holding it above your head for upward lift and making sure that the wing tip doesn’t catch on the ground/water etc. Just be careful that you don’t burst your wing on the ground as it isn’t designed for this.”
