America’s Cup: Italians on the move
Published on August 28th, 2020
After nearly three years of preparing for the 36th America’s Cup, Challenger of Record Luna Rossa (ITA) completed their training period in the waters of Cagliari on August 28, and will now move their base of operations to Auckland, New Zealand.
The Italians and INEOS Team UK (GBR) had remained at the respective bases but both will soon join challenger American Magic (USA) and defender Emirates Team New Zealand (NZL) who are already at the venue. All four teams will be tested for the first time at the America’s Cup World Series event on December 17-20.
