2020 Melges 32 World Championship

Martin Reintjes’ Caipirinha (ITA) won the 2020 Melges 32 World Championship, topping the 12-boat field from 7 nations in Sardinia, Italy. Reintjes, in his third year of racing in the Class, stayed consistent through the 9-race series on August 26-29, posting no bullets but posting all top six scores to secure the victory before the final race.

Christian Schwoerer’s La Pericolosa (GER), winner of the 2019 World Title, finished just one point behind Caipirinha. Finishing third while taking the Corinthian title was Jan Jasper Wagner/ Maximilian Stein (GER) and their Homanit team.
