Home stretch for eSailing titles

The 2020 eSailing season will reach its peak in October and November with a grand finale that will determine the first edition of the eSailing Nation’s Cup as well as the finals of the 2020 eSailing World Championship with US $10,000 up for grabs for the 2020 World Champion.

1,000 eSailors have qualified for the Playoffs – the eSailing World Championship finals – based on the world ranking results. The Playoffs will take place from September 30 at 12 pm UTC until October 3 at 12 pm UTC.

• From September 30 to October 1, eSailors will compete in J/70 on the Auckland waterway.
• From October 1 to 2, the challenge will be played in F50 in San Francisco.
• From October 2 to 3, they will have to master without fail a Laser in Marseille.

The current top 10 ranked eSailors to look out for in the Playoffs are:

Top eight Playoff players compete for 2020 eSailing World Champion title alongside Mike O’Donovan, the first eSailGP champion and the first player to confirm a place in the final.

The first eSailing Nations Cup will start on October 5 on #VirtualRegattaInshore. In this nation-to-nation knockout challenge, teams of 10 will compete in a series of regattas throughout October until the grand final on November 7.
