Jesus Lizard wins J/24 Midwinters

Miami, FL (February 28, 2021) – A strong finish at the 2021 J/24 Midwinter Championship by John Mollicone on Jesus Lizard earned his team the title without needing to sail the final race. With crew Paul Abdullah, Mike Marshall, Nick Turney, and Dan Borrer, the team bested 28 others through 10 races on Biscayne Bay.

Travis Odenbach’s Honeybadger won both races today to secure second place with 32 points while Gilberto Rivera’s Urayo team from Puerto Rico came on strong on the latter two days to snag third place with 47 net points, just one ahead of Carter White on Wind Monkey.

Racing was scheduled for February 26-28.
