College Singlehanded National Champs

The College Men’s and Women’s Singlehanded National Championships were held May 1-2 in Newport, RI. Normally a fall event requiring qualification, the 2021 edition was an open, bring your own boat format. Charlotte Rose (’22) of Jacksonville University topped the 14-boat women’s division while Thomas McCann (’22) of Georgetown University won the 41-boat men’s fleet.
