VIDEO: Race Committee is fun!

Leo Santiago never thought about what goes into putting on a regatta, but he had an opportunity to get a look by volunteering to do Race Committee, and shares it in this video.

“There is a lot going on behind the scenes that as participants, we never see,” said Santiago. “Race Committee arrives early, leaves late, and never takes home one of the trophies. It takes at least as much skill to put on a regatta as it does to win one (Maybe more). I am grateful to all the volunteers that do this regularly. Next time you finish a race or win a trophy, remember to thank Race Committee.”
