Rose, Boucher win College Nationals

The 2021 College Sailing Singlehanded Nationals for men (ILCA 7) and women (ILCA 6) was hosted by Severn Sailing Association in conjunction with the US Naval Academy on November 6-7 in Annapolis, MD. After starting with a DSQ in the no-discard series, Jacksonville’s Charlotte Rose ’22 ground back to take the title in the 14-race series by one point over Sophia Reineke ’22 of Boston College. In the men’s division, Leo Boucher ’22 of St. Mary’s had an easier time of it, winning by 27 points over Hobart & William’s Charles Carraway ’22.
