2022 Etchells Florida States get skunked

Forty-seven teams were entered for the 2022 Etchells Florida State Championship, but the wind failed to deliver for the race schedule on February 5-6 in Miami, FL. As the third stage of the four-event Etchells Biscayne Bay Series, it follows the postponing of the second event which had to be rescheduled due to the rapid rise in COVID cases.

The Etchells Biscayne Bay Series has been one of the major Etchells regatta series since 1994, attracting competitors has from all over the world.

December 11-12 – Louis Piana Cup Regatta
January 8-9 – Sidney Doren Memorial Regatta (rescheduled to March 19-20)
February 5-6 – Florida State Championship (rescheduled to March 21-22)
February 25-27 – Mid-Winter’s East Regatta
