Eight Bells: Hans Gustavsson

Hans Gustavsson, 94 years, died on January 20 in Norrköping, Sweden.

With good qualifications in racing and experienced in the Swedish archipelago, Hans was also an excellent leader for young people and arranged small races locally in Kolmården. When winter came, he made sure that there were stands for the sailing dinghies in an old building that he had negotiated with the municipality.

As a sailing leader, he was very careful that the sailors adhered to the rules of racing. In addition, he had a boat spare shop in Norrköping, Norrköpings Skeppsfournering. Nothing was impossible for him and he was a very good skipper during races.
