Published on October 1st, 2022

Peter Wagner’s Skeleton Key dominated the 2022 J/111 North American Championship held September 28-October 1 on Lake Erie in Cleveland, OH. With the winners accustomed to blustery conditions in their home of San Francisco Bay, they mastered the four day event which began with eight-foot waves and 18 knots of breeze, and finished in gusty winds of 22-30 knots. The crew included: John Collins (bow), Nick Gibbens (headsail trimmer), John Hayes (mast), Ryan Kern (spinnaker trimmer), John Pernick (main trimmer), Cory Schillaci (bow), and Seadon Wijsen (tactician). – Details
