PHOTOS: Starting the Transpac Race 2023

From the inaugural event in 1906, the biennial Transpac Race in 2023 is the 52nd edition for the 2225 nm course from Los Angeles to Honolulu. The 57 entrants got underway with staggered starts on June 27, 29, and July 1. Photos by Sharon Green/Ultimate Sailing.
