US Team for 2023 Youth Sailing Worlds

The US Team has been confirmed for the 2023 Youth Sailing World Championships on December 8-16 in Búzios, Brazil from December 8-16. The USA will compete in 10 of 11 events, not sending a representative in the Formula Kite Female event.

Here is the US Team that will be racing in Brazil:

• Formula Kite Male – Mani Pahuatini (Kailua, HI)
• 29er Male/Mixed – Tyler Lamm (Palm Beach, FL) and Andrew Lamm (Palm Beach, FL)
• 29er Female – Laura Hamilton (Fort Lauderdale, FL) and Carolina Zager (Miami, FL)
• i420 Male/Mixed – Freddie Parkin (Riverside, CT) and Asher Beck (Cos Cob, CT)
• i420 Female – Callie Hammond (Larchmont, NY) and Ava Stevens (Darien, CT)
• ILCA 6 Male – Nicholas Mueller (Whittier, CA)
• ILCA 6 Female – Audrey Foley (Miami, FL)
• iQFOiL Youth Male – Makani Andrews (Kaneohe, HI)
• iQFOiL Youth Female – Sage Andrews (Kaneohe, HI)
• Nacra 15 Mixed – Cody Roe (Fort Lauderdale, FL) and Brooke Mertz (Parkland, FL)

Additionally, US Sailing has confirmed the selection procedures for the 2024 Youth Sailing World Championship to be held July 13-20 at Lake Garda, Italy. For details, click here.
