Make sails last longer with science

Quantum Sails expert Wally Cross recognizes that sails are expensive, and not everyone is in a position to replace their aging inventory. In this report, he shares two examples of how he was able to recut sails to improve their flying shape.

This begins with photos which allow him to measure the shape and determine the performance value. When combined with observed performance problems, a sailmaker can create a plan on how to make improvements.
