All go for St. Petersburg regatta series

Published on November 27th, 2024

Having been spared the significant damage back-to-back major hurricanes inflicted upon many parts of Florida, the team at St. Petersburg Yacht Club is positioned to launch the 5-stage Sailing World Regatta Series in 2025 with the first event on February 14-16.

The regatta will be the first major event utilizing the club’s new state-of-the-art marina and concrete dock facilities, which features more slip space for visiting teams, reducing the raft-ups of years past, electrical upgrades, and a pump-out station. With updates to the clubhouse as well, and a new dress code (note: leave your “cut offs, ripped jeans, extremely short skirts or shorts” at home), competitors can expect the same great hospitality the club has extended for three decades of the series.

Formerly known as the NOOD, this is the 35th season of the regatta series.

2025 Schedule – Sailing World Regatta Series:
February 14-16: St. Petersburg, FL
May 2-4: Annapolis, MD
May 30-June 1: Detroit, MI
June 6-8: Chicago, IL
July 24-27: Marblehead, MA
Oct 25-November 1: Caribbean
