Finalists for 2024 Rolex Honors

US Sailing has confirmed the finalists for the 2024 Rolex Yachtsman and Yachtswoman of the Year Awards, celebrating the most outstanding performances in sailing by American athletes over the past year.

Finalists for 2024 Rolex Yachtsman of the Year:
• Ian Barrows and Hans Henken – Olympic Men’s skiff, bronze medal
• Travis Odenbach – 2-time World Champion
• Jeremy Wilmot – 2-time World Champion

Finalists for 2024 Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year:
• Cole Brauer – First American woman to sail solo non-stop around the world
• Monica Morgan – Winning super crew
• Hannah Swett – Women’s and IC37 achievement

The finalists came from a nomination period held June 18 through December 18, with a committee selected by US Sailing to advance the top three men and women.

This shortlist will now be put to a vote of past Rolex Award winners and prominent members of the sailing media, with the winners announced at the 2025 US Sailing Awards Ceremony on on February 6, during the 2025 US Sailing Leadership Forum in Coronado, California.

“Year after year, the Rolex Yachtsman and Yachtswoman of the Year Awards shine a spotlight on the remarkable talent within our sailing community,” said Henry Brauer, President of US Sailing. “These finalists exemplify the passion, dedication, and excellence that drive our sport forward.”

Established in 1961 by US Sailing and sponsored by Rolex, these awards are widely regarded as the highest individual honors in American sailing.
