Team race sweep for Newport Harbor YC

Newport Harbor Yacht Club (Newport Beach, CA) swept their spring team race events, winning both the Palmer Trophy (April 6-8) for 60+ year old helmspersons and the Baldwin Cup (April 10-12). The winning senior team was Jim Buckingham/ Jamie Malm, Bill Menninger/ Bob McDonald, and Chris Raab/ Buddy Richley while the open team had Brian Bissell/ Perry Bissell and Andrew Person/ Brooks Clark. Both events used Harbor 20s with the course off the club’S main dock.
