Morris claims Melges 24 National title

Forty-six teams competed at the 2026 Melges 24 US National Championship on August 14-16 in Traverse City, MI. The title came down to the final race on Grand Traverse Bay in which Cuyler Morris and his Dark Horse team completed a hard-fought comeback to secure their second consecutive national win, finishing four points ahead of Laura Grondin’s Dark Energy. In the Corinthian Division, Eddie Gary’s Troublemaker overtook early leader Lindsey Duda’s Sin Duda! to claim the championship. – Full report
