Oldak Wins Comet North Americans

Elliott Oldak with Crew Barbara Best representing the Severn Sailing Association won their third North American Comet Class title at Susquahanna YC in Wrightsvill, PA on June 22-23. Previous wins were in 1998 in Oxford, MD and in 2005 in Centerville, MD. Twenty Comets representing seven US states sailed the five race Series in light to moderate southerly breezes. Second was Comet Class Icon and last year’s champion, Talbott and Lee Ingram from Oceanport, NJ. Third was Brad Meade from Milford, Connecticut.
