Australia Day 2022 Honors List

Published on January 28th, 2022

Five members of the sailing community have been recognized with award in the Order of Australia for their services to the sport in this year’s Australia Day Honors list. The Order of Australia recognizes Australians who have demonstrated outstanding service or exceptional achievement.

“Australian Sailing would like to congratulate and thank those individuals who were recognized with an award this year,” said Australian Sailing President Daniel Belcher.

“These are people who have given so much of themselves to their local clubs and to our sport, from the grass roots up to our recent Olympic gold medalists. They have been rightfully recognized with some of the highest civilian honors our country has to offer, so we join with every other Australian in congratulating them on their achievements.”
