World Sailing Rankings

The World Sailing Rankings seek to establish an order of ability based on the results of graded events over a 24 month period. The rankings focus on the ten Olympic fleet racing classes and Open and Women’s Match Racing.

In match racing, Eric Monnin (SUI) leads the Open rankings followed by Ian Williams (GBR) and Nick Egnot-Johnson (NZL), with Taylor Canfield (USA) as the top North American in fifth. Among the women, Pauline Courtois (FRA) maintains her position at the front of the field with Anna Oestling (SWE) in second and Nicole Breault (USA) in third.

The North Americans in the top 20 for fleet racing include Mexican Mariana Aguilar Chavez Peon (7th, iQFOiL Women), Canadians Georgia and Antonia Lewin-LaFrance (8th, 49erFX) and from the USA are: Daniela Moroz (3rd, Formula Kite Women), Andrew Molerus/ Ian MacDiarmid and Ian Barrows/ Hans Henken (4th and 5th, 49er), Stephanie Roble/ Maggie Shea (5th, 49erFX), and Louisa Nordstrom/ Trevor Bornath (14th, 470 Mixed).
