What are the Top Party Regattas?

The Princeton Review, that trusted resource regarding colleges in USA, has released this year’s list of top party schools, based on a survey of 130,000 students at 379 schools. While we congratulate Syracuse University for now holding this esteemed title, we wonder….

But what are the top party regattas?

The Tri-State Regatta on Aug 29-31 has laid claim to the ‘Best Regatta Party on the Great Lakes’.

The race, which began in the 1940s, starts from Columbia Yacht Club in Chicago on Friday, with the first leg finishing at St Joseph River Yacht Club in Michigan. The real party begins as St. Joseph and neighboring communities welcome the sailors for an afternoon and evening of reveling, along with visits to the streets and shops of the community, volleyball on local beaches, live music and more. The second leg of the race on Sunday finishes at Michigan City Yacht Club in Indiana, and then concludes Monday with the final leg back to Chicago.
