While organized youth sailing programs in the USA tend to focus on prams and club-style doublehanded boats, there is a group of young girls of ages 10 to 14 years that have embraced windsurfing out of Biscayne Bay Yacht Club in Miami, FL. “They can’t get enough of the sport,” reports Kathleen Tock. “Now that school sports are finished for the year, they are sailing three days a week.”
