Lightning class spring break moves north

St Petersburg, FL (March 20, 2014) – After reigning world champion David Starck won the first stop on the Lightning class Winter Circuit, topping the 53-boat fleet at the Midwinter Championship in Miami, the circus moved north to St Petersburg Yacht Club for the Lightning Winter Championship on March 20-22. After three races today, Ched Proctor with crew Jamie Ewing and Meredith Killion hold a nine point lead after rolling a 1-5-9. With several top teams posting OCS scores in the second race, the overall standings could get shuffled when the discard comes into play. Current results.
