2024 Lightning Southern Circuit

Augie Diaz, sailing with teammates Enrique Quintero and Paula Herman, won the overall Lightning Southern Circuit, a combination of the Miami Midwinter Championship (March 17-19) and St. Petersburg Winter Championship (March 21-23) in Florida.

A series of major storms and unsettled weather limited the Midwinters to three races as Cristobal Perez with Alfred Sherman and Laura Jeffers topped the 20-boat fleet, while 44 teams at the St. Pete Winter Champs received ideal Tampa Bay racing conditions, with the 5-race series won by Diaz.
