Highlight Show: Argo Group Gold Cup 2014

The Alpari World Match Racing Tour travels back to Bermuda for the penultimate event on the ISAF Match Racing World Championship. Eight tour cards and 12 of the best teams including Johnie Berntsson, Eric Monnin, Stefan Lindberg and Pierre Antione Morvan all battle out for the oldest and prestigious trophy in match racing history – King Edward VII Gold Cup – on Oct 22-26, 2014 .

After a long break with commitments on the America’s Cup, Franceso Bruni is back to defend the Argo Group Gold Cup for the second time. However, he and his team faces a big challenge from both Taylor Canfield and Ian Williams who are trying to top the leaderboard at this event.

Living up the challenge right after Hurricane Gonzalo, the event lives up with spectacular sailing thru breezy conditions throughout the event. It was all or nothing for the teams as championship point is a crucial deciding factor heading to the season finale – the Monsoon Cup come February 2015.
