The most beautiful images of the great sailing photographer on exhibit February 27-March 29, 2015 at Dream Factory, Corso Garibaldi 117 in Milan, Italy. A sampling is below.

Carlo Borlenghi is one of the world’s best-known sea and sailing photographers. He was born in 1956 in Bellano on Lake Como and began his career as a photographer covering the local regattas. Since 1983, Borlenghi has photographed the America’s Cup regattas: he was the official photographer for the Italian campaigns Azzurra, Moro di Venezia and Luna Rossa and for Swiss Team Alinghi.

Since 1994, he has been covering Italian sailor Giovanni Soldini in his around-the-world races and adventures. He was the official photographer during several editions of the Whitbread Round the World Race and during the Volvo Ocean Race 2001-02 Carlo Borlenghi was the official photographer of Amer Sports.

He is also the official photographer of Rolex international sailing events. In his career, Carlo Borlenghi has won numerous prizes. In 1983, he received the Marian Skubin Award” for the best sports photography published in Italy. In 1986, he won the “Grand Prix Professional de la photo de Mer” organized by the French Chamber of Commerce in Paris and in 2007 he won the ‘Grand Prix de l’Image Course au Large’ at the Salon Nautique de Paris. That same year, the President of the Republic of Italy Giorgio Napolitano presented Borlenghi with a commemorative plaque in recognition of “the many years of intense activity he has dedicated to the
world of sailing”.
